KEEP THIS FREQUENCY CLEAR!

Keep This Frequency Clear!

Radio is one of our most loved and respected mediums. It has launched careers, created trends and championed the best music. It continues to be one of the trusted forms of communication in the media landscape.

As part of a new six part series moderated by broadcaster Edward Adoo in partnership with Soho House 'Keep This Frequency Clear' will feature many of those household names who set the foundation and made UK radio what it is today.

To launch the series Edward will be joined by Kiss FM founder and Mi-Soul Radio managing director Gordon Mac MBE to explore his timeline in broadcasting. It will be an intimate conversation with Soho House members and guests invited to take part, watch and ask questions at the end.

Keep This Frequency Clear will launch on 14th October at Soho House 76 Dean Street, London W1D 3SQ.

Mi-Soul Takeover for Edward Adoo

Following the success of a special festive show, Edward hosted last year with his Dad jazz musician Ed Bentley, the Broadcaster and DJ is heading back to Mi-Soul to take over the airwaves for two hours on Boxing Day. Edward will be sharing his favourite soul, boogie, house, jazz and rap tracks of all time and new music highlights of 2018.

Edward says  “It’s great to be back on Mi-Soul. It’s my eternal radio home; it’s the station that gave me the opportunity to refocus my radio career and platform to shine when I didn’t have a regular radio show. All down to Gordon for his time and support. Will always be grateful and appreciate the generosity given.”

Edward will also be playing a world exclusive which has not been aired on the radio from a London based soul collective.

Mi-Soul Radio Boxing Day special with Ed Bentley

On Boxing Day I hosted a special daytime show on Mi-Soul and got the chance to hang out with my Dad Jazz Musician Ed Bentley to find out about his life in Jazz music.

Dad told me what it was like working with Deniece Williams, George Williams former leader of soul group The Tymes, meeting Joe Sample and getting a random phone call from Joey Negro plus working with Courtney Pine on his recent album.
